Edit Juhasz pottery

Edit Juhasz has been a studio potter for more than 25 years. All of her work is hand thrown on the potter’s wheel, a skill she perfected as a production thrower in Hungary and in the UK.
When she started her studio she worked primarily with terracotta and earthenware clays but soon fell in love with the purity and whiteness of porcelain. Porcelain is very difficult clay to throw with, you have to work quickly and be extremely focused. She adores the tactile quality of the end products which are a pleasure to hold and use.
Her colourful porcelain tableware is crafted for everyday use. Each piece is designed to be loved. The delicate yet durable quality of the porcelain makes them a pleasure to use. She works with bright and inviting colours to warm up any home.
Her ceramics are made on the potter’s wheel and fired at 1260°C. The hand-thrown porcelain homeware is microwave and dishwasher proof
